History of Ram Temple Ayodhya

Ayodhya is a birthplace of God Ram who was the 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. After the Jal Samadhi( Water Burial), his son Kush started to rule the Ayodhya. Its all about the Treta Yug. all the history were depicted in Ramayana, poem by Kalidas( Raghuvamsa). Once Famous explorer Hiuen Tsang came Ayodhya for exploring purpose and he also written in his article that there were lots of Ram temples in Ayodhya. All things were going well till 14th century when Bikram Aditya was the king of Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh before 11th century. He incripted in stone in Ayodhya. After his reign, King Jayachandra started to rule at 12the century. Foreign invaders especially Mughals initiated Invading at 14th century.

First Mughal emperor was Babur and Mir baqi was the commander at that time. They destroyed all the temples in Ayodhya and Babur ordered the construction of Mosque at the side of the Ram's temple in 1528 AD. Fedai Khan , the governer of Mughal destroyed the Ram Temple in 1660 AD and the huge Masjid were built. In opposition of that lots of movements were initiated after the demolition of Hindu's temple. In 1853, there were first riot by the Hindu. This was a war of religions. In 1859, the British permitted both Ram Chabutra and Mosque, fenced between them.

Mahant Raghubir Das filed a petition in Faizabad court in 1885 AD for the construction of Ram's temple. Unfortunately, the court had rejected the request. 1933-34 Riots between Hindu and Muslim occured due to cow sluttering resulted damage of wall around masjid and one of its dome. It was renovated soon by british Indian government. In 1944 a commissioner of UP had gave the property right of Mosques area to sunni.

India celebrated Independence day in 15th August 1947. After at 1949 dec 23, the statue of Ram chandra was found inside the Masjid miraculously which leads to big issue. It was sealed thereafter. One year later Gopal Visharad and Ram Chandra Das filed on court to permit the idol inside the mosques. The petition had been submitted to government in UP's Sunni board explaining the excluding of Ram ji impression from the Masjid in 60's.

Now the religious conflict became the integral of politics. Several investigations had concluded that the Mosque had been desecrated and it was locked due to order of Government of India.  In 1980, Atal Bihari Bajpayi had won the election from BJP. Later on, VHP( VIshwa Hindu Parishad)  began demolishing the Mosque and Builiding Temple. In 1986 Krishna Mohan Pandey suggested to remove the lock and allow the Hindus in shrine. BJP won by 86 seat in 1989 and VP singh started to led the government thereby structuring Mandal commission. But that commission created the intercast bordline and harmony disbalance between lower and upper class caste in India

In 1990 sept, BJP, VHP, RSS initiated movement for building Ram temple. In Oct 14 of 90's BJP organized Rath Yatra(" Chariot Journey") from Delhi to Ayodhya.  But Mulayam Singh Yadav proceed to defeat the plan and action. VP singh wanted to take credit so he ordered to complete lockdown. In 30 oct 1990, police ban all the train and buses to Ayodhya. But the blockage of government didn't affect the kar sevaks or activist. 28000 armed police forces were deployed to restrict the activist. Almost all sevaks were arrested and put into police vehicle. But they escaped from the ven  and went towards Mosque. They successfully placed a flag of Shri Ram at the top of Masjid. Again, at nov 2 same incident reoccured. Mulayam Singh ordered to arrest them. 150000 activists were arrested at that time. However, lots of people successfully reached to Ayodhya and one volunteer placed a flag on The Mosque. Other crowd demolited the mosque by using axes and hammers. This incident created the brutality in the whole country especially Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Delhi and Ayodhya were under the gambit of violence . About 2000 people were died at that time. In 1993 March 12, Mumbai people faced  13 Serial Bomb blast organized by Muslim Terrorist.

Now the religious battle became the legal battle. Court started to collect the proofs, Historical record, religious beliefs from 2002 to 2010. At september 30, 2010 the Ilahabad court had decided to divide 2.77 acres land to Sunni waqf Board, Nirmohi Akhara and Ram lalla. But all three parties were against the division of land. Finally the supreme court verdict of ayodhya had decided to handed over the disputed land to trust formed by Indian government for the construction of Ram Temple. Also the Muslim religious got 5 acres land in important place of Ayodhya.

Re-building of Ram's temple were started from 2020 August 5 with traditional as well as modern style. Now it is going to inagurate again on January 22, 2024 after the fight from 492 years. 108 Feet insence stick ( Agarbatti ) is going to fire on the day of inauguration.

" ब्रम्ह सत्यम जगत मिथ्या "or " जगत सत्यम ब्रम्ह मिथ्या "

"ब्रम्ह सत्यम जगत मिथ्या" and " जगत सत्यम ब्रम्ह मिथ्या " are two controversial quotes to each other. Someone believes on former and some on later.

  " ब्रम्ह सत्यम जगत मिथ्या "

This means, the creator or bramha is true but the rest of the things around us or nearby us are fake or something that exists temporarily. The creator is always same and permanent. Actually the matters we see around us can take different forms, for example the gold we see can be formed in various Jewelleries and also can make liquid if we heated in high temperatures so the formation is temporary in nature but the main atoms are of gold that will not change into other metals. Likewise, every living beings die oneday, the body will be burnt or burried but the atma or soul will take another body and exist. So the body is also temporary but the soul (bramha) is permanent or true.

   " जगत सत्यम ब्रम्ह मिथ्या "

This is another controversial quote against first one. One sage from Ramayana, Sage Jawali was atheist (नास्तिक) in nature. He didn't follow any gods and Vedas. He always think there is no bramha or creator, we human beings and any other matters formed scientifically in this world. He thought Soul is nonsense thing and it is not transferable from one body to another.  He quoted these lines " जगत सत्यम ब्रम्ह मिथ्या "

Ram was in Mahabharata war, then?

God Ram chandra was peaceful and straightforward in nature as depicted in Ramayana. But Krishna was strategic person that he can fit the situation in a right equation and handle it.

In Mahabharata war, Pandavas were extremely weaker than Kauravas due to the lack of warriors. The great warriors like Bhisma Pitamah, Guru Dronacharya, Karna, Ashwathma along with many more combatants were there in Kauravs against Pandavas. Bhisma Pitamah had a blessed to live as long as he wanted, by his father Shantanu. No one could defeat him. Guru Dronacharya were also almost impossible to kill easily. In the side of Pandavas, there were few warriors where 5 Pandav's son who were leading the group. Lord Krishna and Hanuman were vowed not to fight in the war. Arjuna followed the idea given by Krishna, so Pandavas got chance to win the war.

If Ram was there in spite of Krishna, he couldn't win the war undoubtedly. The main reason behind this is lack of plan of action and tactics. Ram, himself was the portrayal of Geeta principles. He was always an adherent of truth and dharma.

Maryaada Purushottam Ram never lied to anyone and never cheated to anyone. Lord krishna had cheated to warriors of other side during the battle only for preserving Dharma(immorals). Pandavas couldn't win it if lord Krishna didn't cheat there. If Ram was there, the team will surely defeated the match.

Difference between Rama and Krishna

All we are familiar with these two characters portrayed in Ramayana and Mahabharata respectively. Both are the incarnation of Lord Bishnu. Ram was incarnated in Treta Yug while that of Krishna was in dwapara Yug. Although they are manifested by Lord Vishnu for the preserving Dharma and clear out the immoral of the society, they are different from each other.

The main differences are listed as follows;

1)  Rama was peaceful, virtuous while Krishna was naughty, playfulness in nature

2)   Rama never cheated and lied to anyone but Krishna lied most of the time from                   childhood.
But once Rama killed Bali from backside by cheating.

3) Rama always follows rules and principle but Krishna always fitted the situation in  different equations as per needed

4) Rama didn't know he is god. So he performed human task diligently and known by all as 'Maryada purushottam". But Krishna knew about his birth as a incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

5) Rama didn't escape from any war without winning but once Krishna  ran away from battlefield so He is also known as " Ranchhod Das".

6) Rama himself was Geeta while Krishna preached the Geeta to others.

7) Rama married to one women( Only sita) but Krishna married 16000+ womens

8) Rama killed Indraputra ( Bali) for Suryaputra(Sugriv) . But Krishna assisted Indraputra( Arjuna) to kill Suryaputra( Karna).

9) Krishna could use  Sudarshan Chakra but Rama could not.

Iravan was the son of Arjun and Ulupi( wife among 4 wives). Ulupi was the princess of Naga. Iravan took part in Mahabharata war. With winning the war, Pandavas had to devote Bhog to the Maa Kali. No any offsprings and army was ready for it except Iravan. Iravan wanted to sacrifice his life for Pandavas. But Iravan had put some conditions for it before his death. He wanted to get married before his death.

It was impossible to seek a lady for him at that time because no one wanted to be a widow after one day of marriage. God Shri Krishna had thought to fulfill Iravan's desire. Shri Krishna transformed him as a Mohini form ( Beautiful lady) and marriage to Iravan. They got married and spent a time together. On the next day, Iravan commited his life to Maa Kali.
